Breuil-Cervinia, Valtournenche and Zermatt: Six months of great snow and skiing

At the foot of Matterhorn, the ski season starts with a pre-opening 22nd and 23rd October. And from the 29th October until the 1st May the lifts are open every day. Six continuous months of skiing over two countries and three valleys, an area that starts at the altitude of 1.500 meters at Valtournenche and arrives at 3.889 meters of Klein Matterhorn.

The extensive ski area is served by an impressive lift system which connects high altitude Cervinia with small scale Valtournenche as well as fancy Zermatt in Switzerland.
