The tallest peak entirely in Italy is Gran Paradiso, at a breath-snatching 4061 m. Challenging, definitely, but reachable even for Alpinist beginners together with a Mountain Guide.

Waking before the sun goes up and starting the climbing at dawn is a beautiful and unforgettable experience. The guide will help you with rope, crampons and harness and there are a couple of places with crevasses and exposed cliffs.

Not only are you climbing one of the Alps 4000 meter peaks, but Gran Paradiso is the highest mountain completely located in Italian territory. It’s a great climb to learn basic alpine skills and gather experience in rock scrambling at high altitude with crampons.

From the summit you have an outstanding panorama of the Mont Blanc Massif, Gran Combin, Valais Alps and the Monterosa massif.

The Gran Paradiso is the heart of the National Park with the same name. This summer we’re offering a trek, along the high route Alta Via 2, in the park, with the possibility to reach the peak of the Gran Paradiso together with our local Mountain Guide.

Aiming for the top or not, this trek is a pure alpine experience in one of the most beautiful and wild corners of the Alps.
