New site of the new season

Alagna tailor made ski holidays

Winter has  come to Monterosa at last so it is high time to start ski season. This year we open it with a new, refreshed website.

After 20 years with our two websites www.thealps.com and www.monterosa.com - we decided to merge their contents and give them a new, fresh layout. The result is our remade www.thealps.com.

Let's open ski season!

Lift system is open every day until the 1st May.

From the end of October lift system in Breuil-Cervinia is open.


It is time to open ski season! On the 31st October lift system in Breuil-Cervinia was officially open. Now it is possible to use it every day until the 1st of May 2016. Moreover, thanks to the latest snowfall in Cervinia it is possible to inaugurate the ski season 2015/2016.

51-year-old athlete wins Tor des Geants 2015

Severe weather conditions were a reason to suspended temporarily Tor des Géants. However, we already know the winners.


51-year-old Patrick Bohard from Viller Le Lac won the race with the time of 80 hours and 20 minutes. The athlete has almost beaten a record. It is even more admirable if one takes into account a hostile weather that has not make it easy for all participants of the Tor des Géants 2015.

Gressoney's Music Summer in Castle Savoia

Most of the concerts take place in beautiful Castle Savoia, Gressoney.

Until the end of August there is still possibility to enjoy classical music in Gressoney and beautiful Castle Savoia. On the occasion of the 35th anniversary a special program is prepared.

The Matterhorn Story - open air show at 2600 m

The Matterhorn Story, an open air show

There is still some time to see the Open Air Theatre at 2600 m in Zermatt. “The Matterhorn Story” was prepared to mark the 150thanniversary of the  Matterhorn ascent.

 

The performance runs until the 29th August on the stage at Gornergrat.
