Tor de Geants in Aosta Valley

It is less than 100 days to the most famous endurance trail in the Aosta Valley. 330km in 150 hours and 25 mountains over 2000m - welcome to Tor de Géants!

The Tor des Géants will take place from 11th to 18th September 2016, with the start set for 10.00 am on Sunday 11 September from Courmayeur. The competition provides prizes for all participants who complete the run before the cutoff – by 4 pm on Saturday, the 17th September.

The Tor des Géants is the first and only race to combine long distance with the individual style of runners: the organisation does not impose any compulsory stages, and the winner will be the runner who completes the race in the shortest time, making his or her own decisions on when and how long to stop for rest and refreshment.

The race is very special as it goes through beautiful Alta Via 1 trail and Alta Via 2 with the Gran Paradiso National Park, at the foot of the highest Four-Thousanders. 34 municipalities, 30 alpine lakes and 2 natural parks!

It is worth to try, although it is one of the most demanding races. Only 60% of all competitors (last year it was over 2000 registered participants) finish it.

If you do not feel like running in Tor de Geants, but still loves running, you are welcome to join us on our Runners Camp! At the beginning of August we will train in Champoluc with Maja Tesch, a winner of the Ö till ö Swimrun World Championship.
