First trail, Cervinia

Recent snowfalls in the Aosta Valley mean more and more pistes open. Now it is possible to ski right to Cervinia.

The ski run “Ventina” (no. 5) was opened last Saturday. It runs from Plateau Rosa at 3 500 m down to the town (2 050 m). The 11-km-long route is one of the most popular in the “Cervinia Ski Pradise" area. Along the Ventina the chairlift Goillet started operating in the upper part of the piste, as well as the skylight Gran Sometta (but only during weekends). The connection between Cervinia and Zermatt is also in use so there is even more to be excited about.

The price of the daily Italian area skipass is € 35,00; the price of the international area daily skipass is € 52,00 (the international connection is open with the lifts on the Plateau Rosà glacier). First ride up from Breuil-Cervinia at 8.15am.

Weather forecasts show even more snowfalls this weekend in the region.
