Exclusive ski weekend at the foot of Mont Blanc for Solo Ragazze – Ladies Only.

Join us for a getaway to the Italian (and French) Alps for skiing, relaxing and some luxury. Also this time we have chosen La Thuile the westernmost town of the Aosta Valley, steeped in tradition and history. We are staying with Elena at her charming Hotel Chateau Blanc, perfectly located right between the ski lift and the old town center.

The ski area, called Espace San Bernardo thanks to its international skis-on connection to the French resort in La Rosière, offers us over 150 km of pisted runs.

In the evening we enjoy some laid back after-skiing in the hotel’s winery, or in the private Spa, before we go out for dinner at some of our favourite restaurants in town.

Program proposal
  • Day One
  • Day Two
  • Day Three
  • Day Four and Five
Skiing in two countries

Day One Arrival and bus transfer to La Thuile, a characteristic mountain village surrounded by glaciers, lakes and majestic tops. Check-in at Hotel Chateu Blanc, a few steps from the village center and only 200 meters from the ski lifts. The Hotel arises from an antique dwelling of the XIX century, made up of massive stone walls.

We gather in the refined hall in front of the open fire for a traditional "apericena" a glas of wine from the hotel's own wine cellar and a rich buffet with local delicacies. Program presentation with TheAlps.

Dinner on the mountain

Day Two  After a nice breakfast, a lot of home-made and home-baked, we head for the slopes. Skiing in one or two groups, with meetup for lunch on the mountain.

We chose a nice bar for after-ski, maybe you want to reserve the hotel's Private Suite Spa La Perla, before dinner in town. Just to break with the local mountain style cuisine of the region, we go to our favourite Sardinian restaurant Pepita and have a “crudo” for example, a raw antipasto mare as fresh as on the beach.

Day Three Today you can chose if you want to continue skiing on the slopes or add an extra trill to your holiday going off-piste with our local mountain guide. Or maybe you want to fine-tune your carving technique with a ski instructor. You can also visit Courmayeur and its fancy slopes for a change, with a visit to the famous thermal bath, Terme di Pré-Saint-Didier in the neighboring village.

In the evening maybe we want to go for a glas of Champagne or Franciacorta at the 5 star hotel bar n.1 of La Thuile, Nira Montana. The best restaurant for trying something real genuine but likewise cured in all details is Chalet Eden, where we have our dinner tonight.

Gabriella and Linnea

Day Four Today we explore the long and gentle and often sunny runs on the French side of the mountain. In the evening we go out for the best pizza in town.

Day Five Time to head back to the airport. Our bus will pick us up in front of the hotel.
