Nothing offers more powerful experiences than trekking in nature. Although, it would be nice sometimes to see the trail even online. It is possible now with Google Street View. So let’s go trekking in Zermatt!

In the Zermatt-Matterhorn area youcan discover almost 400 km of hiking trails. Now you can have a virtual trip not only on mountain treks, but also through streets in Zermatt village and even participate in some activities like a heli ski. It is both a chance to experience the landscape when you simply cannot be there or as a part of the preparation for a trail.

To use the Google Street View go to Zermatt tourist office website. You will find there a list of all trails that are now virtually available in a 360° view. When you choose the trail or a place, just click on the icon "360° Panorama" in the right corner of the photo and you will end up in the right place.

You can virtually experience the 5-lake trail, the Gorner Glacier and even climbing the Breithorn (4164 m), among others.
