Killer skiing in Velika Planina

Imagine getting into your car in Ljubljana, driving just twenty minutes through Kamnik to the lower cable car station. A few minutes later, finding yourself on ski grounds at an altitude of 1666 meters, where a chairlift and six T-bar lifts operate from the middle of December to the end of April! There is 6 km of ski pistes at Velika Planina, and ski tours are also possible. A ski-school is organized throughout the winter as well as a ski nursery in the snow.
