Folgarida is not a one of the more famous resorts in the Italian Alps although it wouldn't be a lie to call it one of the betters. The village is a rather quiet place but can provide you with some great entertainment but in a smaller scale. There is great snow all winter, from December and April, and the runs are meant to suit everyone.

The winter season every skier would fancy and dream of can come true at the Folgarida - Marilleva ski area in Val di Sole. Marilleva and Folgarida are a real paradise for ski and snowboard enthusiasts. Great tourist establishments with direct access to the slopes, many after ski entertainment options, a ski area linked to Madonna di Campiglio, totalling 120 Km slopes set amongst the Brenta Dolomites and the Ortles - Cevedale range. The other ski areas of the valley can be reached with a short car drive or by the free SkiBus link service.
