Saas- Grund is a fantastic winter sports resort with many advantages to offer. A sunny and snowy ski area (1560-3100m) with 30 kilometers of prepared pistes for all categories of skiers. For cross- country skiers there is about 26 kilometers of tracked trails through the amazing nature of Saas- Grund. The outstanding conditions of this resort make it perfect for both beginners as well as experts.

You will be able to spend great holidays in this resort and thanks to a special price policy you will be offered a good value deal as well.
There is a ski school for children 4-6 years old Monday to Friday 10 am- 1 pm.
There are plenty of restaurants, cafés and bars to choose from when you are looking for some after ski entertainment. You will also find two great mountain restaurants located close to the slopes offering good food and a tremendous view.
Today you can ski in many places but really excellent skiing can only be found in very few places. It's claimed that Saas- Grund with the ski area of Kreuzboden- Hohsaas deserves the assessment "very good". For many years this resort has been expanded and improved culminating in the opening of the lift up to Hohsaas at 3100 meters. You will find about 30 kilometers of pistes and varying skiing and the resort usually enjoys great snow conditions. If by any chance there would be a lack of snow cannons can still make most of the area ski-able. .
You will find about 18 hotels, a number of group houses and three camping sites in Saas Grund. The hotels are of all sorts of categories and so are all the group houses but you can be assured of finding something that will suit you.
By air: The closest airports are in Zürich, Geneva and Bern.
By train: Basel- Bern- Brig. From Brig to Saas Grund by bus. You can also go through Zürich- Bern- Brig, or Geneva- Lausanne- Sion- Visp. From Visp to Saas Grund by bus.
By car: Basel- Bern- (Kandersteg-Gappenstein with car train)- Gampel-Visp- Saas Grund or, Zürich- Bern- (Kandersteg- Gappenstein with car train)- Gampel- Visp- Saas Grund
