Lenzerheide and Valbella are two Swiss villages that have grown together and have become a large and great ski resort. The villages can offer you a great winter vacation with lots of skiing opportunities and off-the-slopes activities. The surrounding ski area has a good vertical drop and runs for all different tastes.

Fast and interesting skiing The ski area is split up on both the east and west sides of the valley. The east-facing Danis has a top elevation of 2323 meters and that's about 500 meters lower than the west-facing mountain's. But Danis has the majority of the slopes and a lot more variety. Luckily, you don't have to choose between any of them; you can ski in a circle around the valley (with a few minutes walk on the bottom).
The snow cover in the area is usually good but during warm and sunny days it might be a little less. Lenzerheide and Valbella are developing their artificial snow systems to cover more slopes. On higher altitudes (1800 meters above sea level and higher) you can be assured there will be snow, though.
The ski school can teach you both skiing and snowboarding. When you've practised enough you can enjoy yourself together with the other snowboarders in the new snow park or the half pipe.
