Laax, attracts skiers and snowboarders to the largest and most comprehensive ski resort of the Grisons. A total of 220 kilometers of slopes are at your disposal, at all levels of difficulty and located at altitudes of 1,100 - 3,000 meters above sea level. The longest downhill run is 14 kilometers long. Most of the slopes and the 29 lift facilities are situated at a snow-guaranteed altitude of over 1,800 meters above sea level. The Vorab Glacier already takes up operation starting at the end of October, attracting a lot of snow and sun-loving guests to the first powder snow of the season.

Playful start to the winter sports

Kids and teenagers can start winter sports in a playful manner in the Swiss Snow Kids Villages and the Swiss Snow League.

They say you’re never too young to start snow sports. However, the youngest winter sportpersons should be introduced to winter sports particularly carefully. The popular Dreamland themeparks in Flims and Laax are geared totally to the needs of kids. This year, the Dreamlands are complemented by the Swiss Snow Kids Villages. Here, the smallest skiers can start winter sports in a playful way with the help of stories and the mascot "Snowli". The Swiss Snow Kids Villages has been launched as a pilot project the last winter season in 48 out of 200 ski and snowboard schools.

Should any of the kids take to skiing in the Snow Kids Village they will then advance to the Swiss Snow League where the young guests are supported from carving through to freeriding. They are taught skiing and snowboarding from beginner to advanced in a modern training programme. Naturally, Flims Laax Falera is part of both projects.

Nightlife in Flims Laax Falera

By day, 220 kilometers of prepared slopes, situated at altitudes between 1,100 and 3,000 meters above sea level, attract guests to one of the largest snow resorts of the Alps. By night, the selection of bars and clubs is just as comprehensive.

Many guests are happy to find the cozy, romantic “Kellerbar”, located in the “Tegia Larnags“ - just two hundred meters from the base station Laax-Murschetg, kick back and enjoy a late-night snack in your ski suit and forget about the time. After a day on the slopes, the “Lobby Bar” (open 24 hours a day) in the Riders Palace at the base station in Laax, is also a popular meeting place. Guests as well as locals like to get together for an après-ski or a few rounds at the “Iglu-Bar” – next to the base station in Flims. Just a few steps further and you have reached the “Caverna”, where there is always plenty of early evening action. Less après-ski, but more nightlife can be enjoyed in the “Segnes Bar” and the “Bellavista Bar” (both in Flims).

Fashion-conscious guests can find the latest and most exclusive new items in the downstairs area of the “Livingroom” café in Flims. The “Crap Bar”, by the base station in Laax, offers a wide selection of brews behind the stunning 24-ton granite bar. The “Pöschtli Bar” in Laax is an insider-tip for everyone who would like to experience a typical evening in the Grisons in an authentic atmosphere.

The live gigs in the “Casa Veglia” nightclub in Laax-Murschetg are varied enough to please almost every taste: rock’n’roll, rhythm’n’blues and the occasional disco night featuring different styles of music. Top DJs from all over Europe put together the music program at the “Palace Club” and produce the hottest sounds. Two more ultimate spots for music and dance fans are the “Red Cat” in Laax, featuring special theme nights and the “Flem massiv” in Flims.
