Champoussin is a tiny village situated on the Swiss side of Portes du Soleil ski area. It's a village very much suited for families where they can relax because there's no traffic and no noisy late-nights. It's a quiet village with everything in close reach, like the pistes, bars, nursery slopes and ski school. And after a ski day, you can just ski right to your back door. If you are a more experienced skier and want to try some more challenging slopes, you could just just ski over to Les Lindarets ski area. There you will find excellent skiing for the intermediate as well as the expert, and stunning scenery.
Champoussin offers a Mini Club for children from 4 to 12 years of age with plenty of fun scheduled. The club is well respected and has the perfect supervised Alpine experience. Parents can feel safe and enjoy skiing while their children are in good hands. The village also provides a baby-sitting service for the younger kids.

Enjoy Champoussin and Les Portes du Soleil for what it is which is fantastic skiing and a great little village. The resort is highly recommended by visitors. The Les Portes du Soleil ski area is huge, 600 km of pistes with 230 lifts. You can ski a whole week and you will still find new slopes to ski on.
