In the middle of Sweden in the Funäsdalen- area you will find Ramundberget, a fantastic Swedish ski resort with traditions since 1936. The snow often arrives in October/November and remains until May. The lift system is relatively large and you will not find long lines and boring waiting here. The accomodation, restaurants and other facilities are located at a comfortable distance from the slopes. If you want some variety during your winter vacation you have come to the right place: how about challenging off-piste descents on Sweden´s southernmost glacier or a tranquil excourse to a hillside farm in the spring sunshine? For you who are not an advanced skier (yet!?) we have a lot of easier slopes, and a great ski school if you wish to increase your knowledge in skiing. Many guests prefer a tour on nordic skies, perhaps with a stop for waffles at a cottage in the mountains. After a long day of skiing you should definitely try the after ski. Or perhaps a swim in our pool or a massage is what you long for. You can find it all right below the slopes!

Kids have a lot to choose from

At LillRamis, the childrens own ski slope, the children have the best of times. Ramundbergets personnel are here for help and fun. At LillRamis you can ski if you want or play with some of all the other toys, outdoors of course but also indoors if you need to get warmed up. The arctic fox Mickelina often come to visit and play with the children. This is the childrens area but parents are also more then welcome at LillRamis!

Snowy activities

Almost everything you can ask for is available in Ramundberget. Here are a sample of our winter fun: 36 alpine slopes, horse and sleigh rides, dogsleighs, ice-climbing, guided offpist tours, scooter safaris, heli-skiing, ice-fishing, peak excursions, 300 kilometers of prepared ski-tracks, ski school and much much more.

In Ramundberget all people will find some fun, whether you want adventure or just some family entertainment.

At the end of the seson we have a great event called AfterSki1000 in Ramundberget. This is a big after ski up on the mountain at an altitude of 1000 metre. Wellknown artists performe, good food and drinks are served and snow shows with scooter are some examples of what can happen at this after ski. In the evening the party continue indoors. AfterSki1000 is a perfect end to the skiing season!

Sweden is fun

You can find a great After Ski, a sports bar and two other well-reputed restaurants at Ramundberget. During the high season there is also a night club. In Funäsdalen, about 20 km from Ramundberget, there are several of other great restaurant, bars and night clubs.

Solbrännet serves a great lunchbuffé during the day and a la carte in the evening. They also have appreciated theme- nights. This season the doors will go up to a new Sportsbar in the same building. Mor Britas at Fjällgården serves a 3 course dinner, mostly based on local ingredients, and are famous for the great food. The fine wine cellar satisfy the most demanding palate. During the day you can get a lunchbuffé with bread fresch from the owen. Rudolf is the fast food restaurant open during the day. Here you can get a hamburger, soup or coffe for example. You can also eat your own packed meal here.

Suitable for everyone

Ramundberget have something for every level of skier. The intermediate skier will find the slopes great with a lot of different runs. There are also nice challenging runs for the advanced skier as well as smooth easy slopes for the beginner and a great area only for the small children.

Ski School

There are great ski instructors in Ramundberget, who also speak good English. We have special ski schools for kids in all ages. If you wish to increase your knowledge in snowboarding or perhaps nordic skies that is possible too. You can take private ski lessons or group lessons during a week.

Hotel or a cabin

In Ramundberget you can choose between staying at the hotel Ramundbergets Fjällgård with halfboard, or in our selfcatering appartments. All the apartments have sauna and fully equiped kitchen. If you choose the hotel you have access to the pool and sauna area as well as our special rooms for children. All accomodations in Ramundberget have very good standard.

Ramundberget is in Härjedalen in central Sweden,20 km from the Norwegian border, just 7 hours journey from Stockholm by car. If you are driving from the south: follow highway 84 from Sveg via Funäsdalen and Bruksvallarna, until the road comes to an end ...





You can also fly to Röros, Sveg or Östersund. From Stockholm you can go by bus, Härjedalingen, directly to Ramundberget.
