Near the town of Gällivare in Lapland is Dundret situated. This resort has a very long skiing season and during the darkest month there are many floodlit slopes to make the most of the relatively short days. But from February the days quickly lengthen until May when the sun never properly sets. All winter sports are available here, from first-class down-hill skiing and snowboarding to cross country along many kilometres of marked trails and ski jumping.

In our family and childrens area, Snowland, there is a small lift and slope for beginners. Snowland also has a toboggan slope, barbecue area and snow terrace. To the great delight of the children, the Dundret Bear puts in regular appearances at Snowland. Children can join him on the Snow Train for a trip around a small track, and those aged 4 and over can join the Bears own club - Dunderklubben - which organises all manner of fun and games.
We organise a whole range of fun and exciting activities. In the winter we have for example snow scooter safaris, ice-fishing, dog team trips, reindeer sleigh rides, overnight stay in a Lapp tent and outdoor dining. In the sommer we have the perhaps greatest attraction of all: The midnight sun. It shines from 2 June until 12 July - 40 whole days without a single night! In the summer we have activities such as mountain hiking, white-water rafting, fishing and golf in the midnight sun.

At Dundret we have dances, discotheque and après-ski activities in season.
At Dundret you can choose between hotel room- or comfortable chalet accommodation. We have 35 hotel rooms and 90 chalets of different sizes (sleeping 4-6 persons). All chalets have shower/WC, TV and telephone. In total, Dundret can provide accommodation for around 490 guests.
