Our ski runs offer a challenge to all levels of downhill skiers. Our varied slopes give plenty of opportunity for long uninterrupted skiing. A drop of 415 m gives you an unbroken run of 2.4 kilometres. We also have a host of other attractions to ensure a successful skiing holiday: our gondola lift eliminates queuing; the (it takes not more than 5 minutes to reach the top of the mountain), pistes are interlinked and easy to navigate (the whole family can ski their favourite slopes and easily meet up again); the ski school caters for beginners and advanced skiers alike; the sports shop where you can hire all kinds of equipment; special activities (numerous fun events for kids and adults) and best of all: comfortable accomodation on the edge of the slopes. Welcome!

Not many people see real bears in Värmland, but the kids are much more likely to meet their own bear - Björnbusen. On the slopes, at ski-school on the treasure hunt or during After Ski... Just behind the gondola valley station you will find our ski-school area, which has an easy lift for all children and beginners who use the ski-school. For everyone with a sense of fun we have some great seldge runs, even if they are primarily intended for our younger visitors, plus a mini- scooter course for anyone aged between 4 and 10.

Winter sporting life is more than just skiing. Why not take the opportunity to try something new - a thrilling scooter safari or the exhilaration of paragliding. Grown-ups as well as kids can also enjoy the Branäs competition programme, which includes the Utmaningen, Snowracer Cup and Björnbusarnas Knatteslalom. On the top of the mountain, you find most of our tracks. If you take the Gondola Lift to the summit, follow the signs to the Spårcentralen. Once there, you have a total of 26.5 km of cross country ski track to choose from. This is divided into 1.5 km, 2.5 km, 5 km, 7.5 km and 10 km stretches.

The restaurant is open during the day as well as in the evening. Why not sample the lunch of the day, maybe a cup of tea/coffee during a well-earned break or perhaps a refreshing after-ski drink. Later in the evening, you can meet new friends in the bar or, if you still have the energy, take in a dance or two. As for food, both à la carte and special menus, such as Taco buffet and fondue, are available. There is always something happening at Zeke's Bar & Restaurant! Another good place to relax is Toppstugan - not just somewhere to take a break with a cup of coffee or hot chocolate. This year we are also offering special events on certain evenings.

All the accommodation alternatives on offer in Branäs village are situated within walking distance of the gondola lift and other service and entertainment facilities. The cottages at the top of the mountain are also within walking distance of the lifts. Choose between convenience of the valley or the genuine winter atmosphere up on the peak - stay in a chalet, chalet apartment, youth hostel, in a caravan or apartment.
