Of course there are more things to do than just skiing. Table tennis, hang-gliding and adventure skiing are some suggestions of what can be done in Sierra Nevada.
There are four restaurants in the mountain, and those can give you a splendid after ski meal. Sierra Nevada can also offer both Spanish and international food in the all the other charming restaurants. You can also enjoy yourself in one of the bars, discotheques or pubs.
Guaranteed snow in guaranteed sunshine
Sierra Nevada is a true ski resort with a very large ski area. Over 60 kilometers of slopes and the nineteen lifts will give you excitement for several days. Most of the slopes are very long and have varied difficulty. Experts shouldn't be disappointed, nor should beginners.
Another great thing with Sierra Nevada is the nice weather; the sun is just fantastic. Unfortunately, if there are too many beautiful days the snow cover might suffer, but Sierra Nevada has tried to prevent this from happening by purchasing about 200 snowmaking machines. Now you are guaranteed snow all season long!
Another good thing about Sierra Nevada is the night skiing. Two long, red slopes have electric floodlights so you will be able to enjoy yourself on the mountain even at night.
Skischool There are three ski schools that teach both skiing and snowboarding. Most of the instructors are able to speak other languages than Spanish.
