At the Ljubelj border crossing, above the tunnel between Slovenia and Austria, you will find the Zelenica ski grounds at an altitude of 1088 to 1704 meters. The ski area isn't as huge as the other ski resorts in the Alps, but there are many possibilities to ski nearby ski resorts like Kranj, Ljubljana and Klagenfurt connected by ski buses.
