Skofja Loka is a small town with a number of cultural attractions. The town is one of the oldest Slovene towns and was mentioned in historical documents as early as 973. Not far from Skofja Loka is the famous church of Cmgrob with its exceptional frescoes. The hills around Skofja Loka are known for their excellent tourist bed and breakfast farms, which offer board and lodgings.
