The slopes of Krvavec are situated along the foothills of the Kamnik Alps, only some 10-km from Ljubljana's international airport, Brnik and a short distance from the Ljubljana-Kranj motorway. These slopes could well be termed the alpine world on the outskirts of Ljubljana: only 32 km from Ljubljana to the foot of Krvavec - or half an.hour's drive in winter.
