Three Slovene valleys converge where the river Drava enters Slovenia from Austria. In this part of Slovene Carinthia, known as "Koroska", there are three large ski grounds. The first ski area is situated above the small town of Ravne na Koroskem, on the very outskirts of the town. The ski lifts take skiers to an altitude of over 1100 meters, where you will find more than 2600 meters of ski pistes.
