The ski season starts in the end of November/beginning of December and runs until April, depending on the snow conditions.
Famous for its long ski runs and varied skiing Kongsberg is a quite popular ski resort in Norway. There are 6 runs and one nursery slope. Snowboarders have their own snowboard park and a 100-m long half pipe.
