Trollia Creche -takes children from 3 months and upward. Here the children can play, nap and have a good time in a safe environment while their parents are skiing. We encourage all children to wear helmet! These can be borrowed free of charge at Trollia. The Troll Park, Troll Forest and Beginners Area Areas made for fun times for the whole family. Here you can learn to ski and snowboard, frolic in the snow, visit the Troll Lodge or the lavvo tent and meet the trolls in the forest. Free lift pass - for all children under 7 years

"Alpine" feel The unique mountain scenery gives Hemsedal a decidely "alpine" feel. It has the highest alpine point in all of scandinavia at 1497 meters and a vertical drop of 810 meters. Everyone can enjoy the clean fresh air, the panoramic view and the descent from the highest mountain, as there are beginners pistes all the way down to the base ares, as well as more advanced. Skiing and snowboarding Hemsedal Skisenter is an alpine arena of international class. Wide, well groomde pistes, a large snowboard and terrain park, mogul skiing, great off-piste, cafes and restaurants, ski rental, ski school and designated areas for children and beginners. Cross-country Here are 130 km of groomed cross-country track in the valley and forest and 80 km marked/groomed high mountain tracks and 6 km of flood-lit tracks.
Ski school Hemsedal Ski School at Hemsedal Skisenter and Solheisen Ski School at Solheisen Skisenter teach downhill, snowboarding, cross country and telemark skiing for beginners and advanced skiers of all ages.
