Just to get up to Treble Cone, TC from Wanaka is an awesome experience. Up on the mountain the view over the moonlike landscape around Lake Wanaka on one side and the mountains of Mount Aspiring National Park on the other is just fantastic. Then take a look up at the ski area and you should be convinced that a great day in the snow is waiting for you.

A high-speed six-pack (!) chairlift makes sure that there's no waiting in line before you could get up on the mountain. And once up there the choice is yours for what you want to do with the ride down, off-piste, well groomed slopes or moguls, up on Treble Cone you can find it all.
TC Cat Club
TC cat, the mascot of Treble Cone takes care of the children and teaches them to ski in a fun way. Meanwhile parents can get the most out of their holiday. There is a childcare facility and a junior ski school option.
Treble Cone is for sure one of New Zealand's most variegated ski areas. The five lifts are spread out over a large area that makes it possible to ski or surf almost anything. This is also the reason why TC is the place to be after a snowfall but remember to be there early and try the Matukituki basin or Sundance before the rest. A walk up to the summit is a perfect way to try the powder and some nice big and small cliff drops.
Even if your not an extreme powder rider or skier you'll enjoy Treble Cone. With the four groomers the crew always keeps the pistes in great condition. Except for the mogul fields where some of the world's best freestylers gather every season.

All accommodation is down in the valley around and in Wanaka where everything from camping areas to luxury hotels is possible.
Treble Cone is situated on the South Island of New Zealand, not far from Wanaka. The drive up to the resort is about 35 km and takes 30 minutes. There are transport shuttles from Wanaka available. From Queenstown - 1 1/2 hours over the sealed crown range road. There are shuttle buses daily from Queenstown.
