The friendly village of Tonale gives everyone a chance to enjoy fantastic scenery along with great skiing for a professional as well as a beginner. The village can provide you with anything ranging from a doctor to a dog sled school. Tonale is a laid back village and very informal and fun.
The ski resort is located 1883 meters above sea level and the top ski height is at amazing 3069 meters. There are a total of 30 lifts in the system and 100 kilometers of smooth pistes. The high location makes Tonale extremely snow sure and as if that wasn't enough you will have the security of some splendid skiing on Presena Glacier.
One of the best things about the resort is that you will hardly find any lines and waiting time for the lifts. Most of the runs are above the tree level and are superb beginners' slopes but you will also find considerably tougher skiing as well while exploring the Tonale skiing area.
For snowboarders there is a snowpark with kicks, piramid- and kick-box, rainbow. In Tonale and in the near village of Vermiglio branch 8 rings for cross-country skiing: more than 30 km tourist and racing track network winding at the foothill of the Presanella among an an enchanting, unspoilt environment.
It is possible to leave children at Fantaski, where a skilled staff take care of them with entertainment, games and sport activities.
Children under 150cm tall ski free on Saturdays between 13.1.2007 and 31.3.2007 when accompanied by a full-paying adult.
Outdoor fun
There is of course a tobogganing run in Tonale as well as an ice- rink, a sleddog school, snow-shoeing and nordic walking.! If you are looking for some indoor activity there is a fitness center and an Olympic size pool to cool off in.

Plenty of entertainment
Tonale has a good nightlife with plenty of bars and nightclubs to party in. If you are just trying to relax there is a game room where you can try your video game skills.
Way beyond the tree line there are a huge selection of pistes to choose from in Tonale. More advanced skiers really should try the excellent black run that starts from end of the cable car. There is also a 4,5 kilometer long run all the way down to the village through some magnificent scenery's. There is also a 7 kilometer long run that goes through the woods of Ponte di Legno that is very challenging.

From the Brennero Highway until San Michele All'Adige, following the signs to Mezzolombardo and Cles until the Sun Valley (Val di Sole). From east-west on the motorway Milano-Venice; exit Brescia and then on the state road SS 237 or exit Bergamo direction SS 42.
From Trento station you can take a local train "Trento-Male". You exit at Male or at Marilleva 900 which have bus/coach connections to all centres of the valley.
There is the Fly Ski Shuttle service which connects Val di Sole to main airports in North Italy (Milan, Bergamo, Brescia and Verona.
