Impressive mountains, lovely valleys and the highest peaks of the Dolomites are among the sights you will experience in the beautiful nature around Arabba. Here you will find whatever you wish for as a winter-sport enthusiast. Arabba, 1602 meter above sea level, is located in the Livinallongo district of Col di Lana and the valley extends between the Pordio, Falzerego, and Campolongo passes.

Always something to do
While you are not in the mountains having fun in the slopes, you can still enjoy yourself with different activities. You can, for example, hire skates and skate in the ice-skating rink. You could also try the crazy race with the snowmobiles on the circuit of Plan Boè. For the more laid back people it is possible to just go out for a drink and relax.
Gastronomic adventure
In Arabba you will certainly appreciate all the delicious food served. Among local specialities are for example crafons da siegra and canifli but you can also order some terrific Italian food.
You will find a total of 27 lifts in Arubba and some 52 kilometers of extremely varied skiing. Of the total of 60 prepared runs you will find about 10 black runs, 27 reds and 22 green ones? There are lots of ski instructors who can teach you all about skiing in one of the ski schools. If you would like, you can even have private lessons with your favourite ski-instructor!
There are about ten hotels located in Arabba and another ten in the surrounding villages and they are all of varying, but good, quality. Apartments and private bed & breakfast rooms are also available.
Easy access
If you're coming from the north by car you can take the motorway A 22 del Brennero exiting at Bressanone and then continue to Val Pusteria and Val Badia. When finally at Corvara there's only ten kilometres to Arabba. A piece of advice is to always drive with snow-chains in your car! By rail you should go to Fortezza from north, or Belluno if you arrive from the south, and then take the bus from there.
