Taste the French kitchen. Serre Chevalier has a reasonable range if nice restaurants. You will find a good selection of "real" rural French cooking and ambience at low prices. There is something to suit most pockets and tastes in Serre Chevalier.

This major area is being well interlinked , travelling is easy, with the bonus of simply bussing back if you are tired or relaxed. This winter discover 3 new high speed 6 passengers chairs. The runs, cut in and above a large, larch forest, are on the North side of the high long ridge. There are many bowls, galdes, valley descents and high off-peak faces. It is easy to collect 1000 metre resorts, there is an absence of huge, bland and open expanse. There is a good selection of reasonable off-piste which either feeds back to the system , or goes to another area included in the lift pass. Serre Chevalier's snowcondition is exceptional good. Three factors make for good snowconditions; it is North Facing, the majority of the skiing is on the top half and the trees protect the lower slopes. More than 350 Cannons build and protect the base of the valley pistes and the grooming is good.
