landscape Les Sept Laux is located in the Massif de Belledonne and counts as the third best ski resort in the Dauqhine region with three sites on both parts of the mountain. The resort is situated at an altitude of 1350m to1450m and the ski lifts ranges in altitude from 1350m to 2400m. Here you'll have a great view over the whole Gresivaudan valley and experience great scenery of a beautiful mountain landscape. Les Sept Laux received its name from the seven mountain lakes at the foot of the Alps just where Le Pleynet is located. The ski resort came to life in 1971 and has developed ever since and now it has 35 lifts, 50 pistes and 67 km of cross-country trails. The resort also has three nurseries and ski schools.
The kids are well looked after in Les Sept Laux, and the area has three great ski schools that give private and group lessons both for children and adults. Children 18 months to 2½ years old will be able to enjoy a day nursery and a snow area. Kids 4 years and older are welcome to try the local ski school that promises to be great fun.
Try visiting a local village and see how goose and duck breeding is done as well goat cheese and honeymaking.

The Sept Laux mountains is one of the wildest massifs in the French Alps. The ski area is wide and expand on about 1500ha of mountains including 50 slopes (100km of alpine skiing) and 32 ski lifts. The lifts are located on an altitude of 1350m up to 2400m.
The ski area is split in three areas; Prapoutel, Pipay and Le Pleynet. All areas have a ski school and a nursery area with great personal. The Ski schools offer private, group and snowboard lessons and you will find about 89 ski instructors in the area to help you out. If you are a cross-country skier you can choose from 2 cross-country areas, 60km of trails in Le Pleynet and 6 km in Prapoutel.
Here can you choose from 8720 beds in all kinds of hotels, cottages and youth hostels. Most of them have licensed restaurants and bars that often serve delicious dishes. Many hotels are close to the villages and the ski lifts with the nursery areas.
