A 360° area where you can ski! From Mont-Blanc to Beaufortain, the panorama unfolds before your eyes. Along the 120 km of ski slopes, ranging in altitude from 1200 to 2500 meters, skiers of all levels go from one mountainside to another discovering the resorts of Mont-Blanc area, or just make a stop and enjoy a meal at one of the high altitude restaurants.Several activities are at your disposal: natural ice rink, sled dog rides, snowshoeing or discover the local wildlife throughout the 5500 hectares of the Contamines-Montjoie Natural Reserve by.
Les Contamines-Montjoie has two excellents ski schools. They will take care of children from four up to 15 years. Furthermore there is the daycare centre La Galipette for children aged between 1 and 7 years old.
Every week a new program of activities is available at the Tourist Office. Concerts, treasure hunts, night skiing, torch descents and much much more...

The restaurants in Les Contamines-Montjoie are very pleasant and can give you a delicious food experience. Some of the places are even situated up on the ski slopes. There are actually more after ski restaurants than you can find on the trail map.
Fantastic skiing in the French Alps! A two-stage gondola will bring you up to the ski area from Le Lay and another gondola can be found a little higher up in the valley. The ski area is quite large with mostly north-facing slopes. The total length of the slopes sums up to a respectable 120 kilometres.
The snow is always great thanks to the north-sided slopes and the heavy snowfalls that Mont-Blanc creates. The black runs might not keep the most experienced satisfied for a whole week, but the larger and more challenging ski areas in Chamonix and Megève are not too far away. For intermediate skiers the area is great and there are some good slopes for the beginner too.

With two 3* hotels, four 2* hotels and three 1* hotels, there are a good choice in catered accommodation. Interesting to discover are the two Tourist residences Le Bonhomme and Le Nevez. Finally you'll have the choice between three Bed and Breakfasts Chalet Kiana, Chovettaz or La Ferme de Bon Papa. We have also a lot of self-catered apartments proposed by he Reservation centre.
