There is unlimited scope on either side of the valley, with plenty of runs from the glacier of Mont de Lans, the longest being a stamina sapping 13 km. There are also several of black runs, extreme enough to challenge the most advanced skiers.
Les 2 Alpes is a childrens heaven! The leisure centre is 1000m2 of paradise in the heart of the resort. The centre offers : sledging, parallel slalom course, gymkhana, bob, veloski, ski scooter, learn to drive a skido, sledge racing and games for younger kids. For the children. 6 months to 2 years: Places allowing, and requested in advance, the Clos des Fonds intercommunal crèche will welcome your children in recent comfortable surroundings ( beds, cots.) 2 to 6 years: A chalet kindergarten in the very heart of the village with swings and slides.and where various games are organised by qualified instructors. Children can also be accompanied to their ski lessons. 4 to 6 years: Ski lessons in an area specially designed for children: baby drag lifts, small learning circuits, wander on skis to get the feel of chalet serves as a retreat and as a and supervision is provided by the ski instructors.
