Gerardmer

Gerardmer is a small town situated in the region of Vosges, in the middle of the mountains. Beautiful lakes and forests surround Gerardmer and it is full of life all year round. It was almost entirely destroyed in the 2nd World War, but it was rebuilt and the ski area developed in the fifties. The ski area is a part of Les 3 Sites along with La Bresse and Xonrupt.
