Flaine is located in haute Savoie 80 km from Annecy, 70 km from Geneva and 10 km from Mont Blanc. The resort, facing east west, spreads on three different levels: Flaine Forêt, Flaine Forum and Flaine Front de Neige. The resort's integrated design makes it an extremely convenient "easy-to-use" car free resort. All services, shops and activity centres are centrally located and easy to find. The ski area offers the finest conditions for snow sports: doorstep skiing, an excellent snow record, a comprehensive but huge network of perfectly maintained pistes, the Jampark for freestylers, an international atmosphere,... Flaine is an excellent resort for the first time skier. The vast majority of the runs in Grand Massif area are ideally suited to the intermediate skier, with runs both above and below the tree line. Flaine's 265kms of runs are more than enough to keep the most proficient skiers happy.
2 kindergartens (The Rabbit Club and The Green Mouse club) take care of 3 to 12 year olds, offering a mixture between in- and outdoor activities, as well as skiing. 1 Crèche "Les P'tits Loups" hosts the smaller ones (6 months - 3 yrs)
