The peaceful mountain village of Combloux, in the heart of the French Alps, is an ideal destination for families and everyone who enjoys the great out-doors.
With the majestic Mont-Blanc as a backdrop, this small alpine village has kept the charm of times' past with chalets in stone and wood, cattle grazing in high mountain pastures, the church spire in the distance.
An ideal area for hiking in the Summer and skiing in the Winter months. With 63 different runs linked in all with la Giettaz and 100 kms of trails, our ski domaine is accessible to all different levels of skiers. We are also linked to Megève, Saint-Gervais and Les Contamines with the Evasion lift pass, 445 km of trails. The French Ski School gives ski lessons and also offers child care and the Guides Office proposes snow-shoes and mountaineering. Various cultural activities and events are sponsored by the Tourist Office.

In keeping with the atmosphere of a small mountain village, a welcome cup is offered at the Tourist Office on Sunday evenings in Winter and Monday evenings in Summer. The Tourist Office sponsors many activities during the Winter season as well as night skiing twice weekly and other organized sporting events. Keep your children happy with Giant Wooden Games, (fluorescent)torchlight skiing, theatre, painting workshops and carriage rides.
Combloux has two different lift passes to offer :"Evasion Combloux": Combloux, the Jaillet, La Giettaz and CordonSki amongst the pine trees in Combloux on 100 kms of trails with 63 runs of various degrees of difficulty. Prices range from 24€ for a day pass to 116.50€ for six days."Evasion Mont-blanc" : Combloux, Megève, Saint-Gervais and Les Contamines offer a more expansive domaine with 450kms of trails of all levels of difficulty. Prices start at 34.50€ for a day pass to 166€ for six days.
French Ski School 85 different ski instructors and 4 guides are at your service for the Winter season offering lessons for all different levels of skiers in French, English, and a few other languages. Combloux, in the heart of the French alps is easy to reach. Roads are kept clear in the winter months but special equipment (chains or snow tires) are strongly recommended. By car: Take the autoroute blanche (A40) to the Sallanches exit, follow signs to Combloux (8 kms) along the Route Nationale 212. By plane: to the International Airport in Geneva, then 1 hour by taxi or bus.By train: Direct trains from most large cities to the station in Sallanches, then on to Combloux by bus or taxi (8kms.)
