Brides-les-Bains, the last resort to reach The biggest ski area inthe world: The 3 Valleys, offer you the same facilities as in the high resorts but without the disadvantages: near the town of Moutiers (6km) and all the services you need ( supermarket, hospital, petrol station, train station,...), no need snow chains or special equipment to reach the resort, free car-park,... Brides-les-bains is also a great resort the evening: The only casino of the region Tarentaise is located in the center of Brides-les-Bains: roulette, black-jack, slot machine until 3.30am, a new "cocktail night-bar" linked to the casino until 4.00am, 2 discos, and lot of bars.
Activities programm explain and Hot Wine offer by the "Club Equilibre", entertainment service of the resort, every monday. (except the week of Christmas and New Year: it willbe on tuesday).
Skiing for all skiers Brides-les-Bains is unfortunately located a little bit away from the real ski area. However, a large gondola will take you to Meribel in twenty minutes. From Meribel you will have access to more than six hundred kilometers of slopes, which is enough to satisfy every type of skier. The region is called "the Three Valleys" and nowhere else can you find such a big ski area with so many opportunities and different styles of slopes. And the best part is that you can ski all these slopes with only one ski pass.
In the tourist Office of Brides-les-bains, you can book your group or private lessons for the french ski school in Meribel.
Less expensive The standard of the hotels and the other accommodations in Brides-les-Bains is at least as good as in the rest of the region, but much cheaper.
