A surprise hidden in the Giant Mountains
If you haven't skied in the Czech Republic before you'll be surprised how well maintained the ski areas are, and Harrachov is no exception. Even though it's small, Harrachov will give both the beginner and the expert a pleasant skiing experience on the slopes of the Giant Mountains. The hotels in the area are often of good standard and situated close to the lifts. This also goes for the splendid little restaurants where you can relax after a day of skiing. Liftinfo etc

The Harrachov ski area is quite small, but good for both novice and trained skiers. The length of the marked pistes is eight and a half kilometers, and most of the area could be covered by artificial snow if needed.
One of the lifts is a chair lift and the others are normal ski lifts. They will all take you up to the top and give you a vertical drop of 370 meters.
