The Axams-Axamer Lizum area lies only nine kilometers from the Tiroler capital, Innsbruck. The Axams-Axamer Lizum resort has hosted the winter-Olympics twice, in 1964 and the latest being in 1976, so there is no doubt the skiing is great here.
