There are just weeks to go before the start of the ski season in Monterosa Ski.

The opening of the main area including Champoluc, Gressoney and Alagna is scheduled for Friday 25th November, while most of the smaller lift systems will start their engines in the beginning of the December.

The Swizz resort offers an 80-percent discount on season passes valid for one, three or 15 years. A whole winter of skiing in Saas-Fee would then be cheaper than a four-day ski pass for the same area - but it will only happen if enough people sign up.

At the foot of Matterhorn, the ski season starts with a pre-opening 22nd and 23rd October

“Everything has to come to an end, sometime.” And it is so with a winter season as well. The forthcoming weekend will be the last for enjoying skiing in Monterosa.
