A plan to expand Zermatt-Cervinia ski area can make Monterosa Ski the world’s 2nd biggest ski area! „In the Snow” magazine dedicates its first article of the February issue to the very promising project in the Aosta Valley.

Nowadays, Matterhorn Glacier Paradise links the Swiss resort Zermatt and Italian Breuil-Cervinia. It is 360km of piste, but with an expanding plan

Monterosa Ski Alp night race

Monterosa Ski Ski Alp race

At the beginning of March the Monterosa Ski Alp Alpine Ski Touring Race will take place for the 6th time. Competitors will run at night across Monte Rosa, Gressoney Valley to Champoluc.

The 6th edition of the race will take place on March, the 4th. Competitors, in teams of two, will use classic Alpine technique to reach Monte Rosa peaks at 2750m. The race will start and finish in Champoluc, crossing Gressoney Valley at Staffal. It covers 30km tough route.
