As the tradition has it, Gressoney waves the winter goodbye at “Pasquetta” Whit Monday 17th April, with the annual Spring Barbeque Contest.
The objective is (apart from drinking some beers and having some good food) to cross the pool at the end of the slope, avoiding freezing dives.
Skiing continues in Gressoney-La-Trinité also "after season". The lifts keep open for spring skiing 22nd-23rd-24th-25th April, 29th-30th April and 1st May.
