| Who: |
People who travel in a spirit of authentic interest for the place they visit and who want to be personally involved. Genuine tourism is also the people who live in the place and want to share it with others as their guests. |
| What: |
The experience of a place in its uniqueness. Genuine tourism is landscape with man’s signs on it through history. |
| How: |
Slow, because it goes at the pace of man and nature. Genuine tourism is small scale to give people a real opportunity to meet each other and see details. |

We are proud to announce the collaboration between thealps.com and the Permanent Secretariat of the Alpine Convention with their publication: “Per Alpes, Discovering the Alps in 20 circular walks”. Here you can read the full descriptions step by step of each trekking tour.
Per Alpes is a trekking guidebook with a selection of 20 circular itineraries, complete with introductions and descriptions, covering all the most beautiful mountains in the Alpine region, and crossing the borders of all the countries of this region. In the same spirit of the Alpine Convention we fully support the idea that trekking with its slow meditative character, brings you near the environment and in touch with yourself. |
