theAlps AB payment terms, cancellation policy and release of liability – please read carefully
Deposit
At the time of booking and at least 30 days before arrival, a 150 euro deposit will hold your space until arrival, at which time payment is due in full. If you as our hotel guest or trip member will not show up at the expected date and/or quit before the due time, you are obliged to pay the full price of your lodging/tour.
Not included in price
Airfare, insurance of any kind, any medical or hospitalization costs, emergency transportation costs resulting from an injury are not covered in the trip cost.
Insurance
We strongly recommend the purchase of cancellation insurance for your own protection in the event of illness as well as a health insurance policy that covers emergency situations.
Delays
In the event that the trip is delayed due to unfavorable weather conditions, flight cancellations or delays, transportation delays or any other situation for which we can not make previsions, thealps AB agents and partners, officers or employees can not be held accountable for costs relating there from. Any costs resulting from the above-mentioned are not included in the price.
Canceled trips
Due to the nature of operating in the mountain wilderness of remote international areas, theAlps AB reserve the right to cancel any trips for safety reasons. If there is an insufficient number of sign-ups at 15 days prior to departure, you will be notified of trip cancellation and will spare the prepaid booking fee for another time/receive the deposit back. theAlps AB are not responsible for expenses incurred by trip members in preparation for the trip (e.g. non refundable airline tickets, medical expenses, equipment, etc).
Cancellation Policy
Please be advised that a significant portion of our expenses are committed long before departure, as such there is a non-refundable 150 euro administrative charge applied to all cancellations.
Release of Liability
theAlps AB are not liable for any and all damages resulting from injury, illness, unfavorable weather conditions, delays or any other situation beyond our control. Individuals participating to a heliski or off-pist tour must be at least high intermediate level skiers / boarders in order to keep up with the group and avoid possible injuries due to inadequate skill and experience level. All individuals will be required to sign release of liability waivers prior to commencement of the trip.
